CCIE Prerequisites

Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert(CCIE) requires a high level of training in computer systems, such as a member or accident degree in online or network management. These two programs provide classroom and industrial training as well as hands-on training and IT companies. Applicants for the program receive a high school diploma or equivalent part-time job. Most CCIE candidates start their careers as a computer technician and advance to a higher level. Some study programs have been integrated with the Cisco Networking Academy.

CCIE Prerequisites:

Applicants are not required to take the CCIE exam and the Higher Education Certificate on a contractual basis. However, before candidates pass the CCIE exam, Cisco recommends at least three to five years of networking experience. Self-education or training programs can provide services to people who wish to apply for the CCIE exam.

In fact, there is no prerequisite for Cisco CCIE certification. Cisco recommends that you have at least three years of Cisco hardware experience and a thorough understanding of routing protocols, switches, routers, and security tools.

To obtain the CCIE certification, you must first pass the CCIE written exam. After completing the written exam, you have the right to design and take the appropriate one-day laboratory exam at one of the ten Cisco CCIE Laboratory locations. The Practical Laboratory Exam can test your knowledge and troubleshooting resources with the Cisco Equipment Command Network.

However, I suggest that you do not try CCIE without first obtaining another certification from Cisco.
